Researching Richard Greon WHARTON/WHORTON/HORTON and Bartley WHARTON/WHORTON/HORTON of Fruithurst, Benton Co., AL circa 1909. Attempting to find the exact burial place(s) of above mentioned believed to be buried at "The Old Mt. Olive Church" which burned down and was rebuilt as "Crossroads". Bethsadia #2 is a contender as well but are looking for records, church type, to result in the placement of a proper headstone. Also looking for a description of directions leading to "The Old Mt. Olive Church Cemetary.

He appears with his wife and and 3 year old son, Edward Gideon HOLTAM, Jr. on the 1910 Federal Census for Clebourne Co. I would like to know where he lived in Clebourne Co. and during which years. Looking for any information on James William ANDERSON, ca 1825, married Elizabeth LOTT in 1843 in Benton County, Alabama. They were in Randolph County in 1850 and 1860 in Talladega County. Am searching for ancestors of Alonzo Crawford THOMPSON who lived with wife, Eliza Ann PRESTRIDGE (PRESTAGE) THOMPSON in Cleburne Co., AL in 1917. Believe his father's name was Peter THOMPSON and mother's name was Elizabeth ABACUS or similiar sound. My father who is 81 has never been in contact with any uncles or aunts in this family. In 1877 Mark COPPOCK went to probate court to sign papers to allow his two youngest children to be raised by someone else. He was elderly and in poor health. The names were Eliza A COPPOCK age 8 and William C COPPOCK age 4 - children may have taken name of new family as I cannot find either on any census under COPPOCK. The mother of these children belived to be Martha PARKER COPPOCK, do not what happened to Martha. Appreciate any information and will share what I have.

I am looking for info on my great- grandfather Thomas F. BROWN (1886-1942). He had two brothers, Joe and Hess, and two sisters, Beulah and Willie. Thomas married Georgia Mae BALLARD (1886-1992). Thomas and Georgia are buried in Ranburne, Cleburne Co., Alabama. Their children included Ralph (1910), Dewey W. (1914-1989), Thomas (1917-1927), H. We wanted to find any record concerning him if possible (His parents full names and their birth records if possible and also if he had any siblings. Birth dates and where they were born if possible).
