DONALDSON posted by Elaine Russell on Friday, August 27, 1999

DONALDSON: Seeking information on my gggrandfather whom I understand lived in Borden Springs (Cleburne Co), AL. His name may have been George or William. His wife I understand was named Susan, maybe Susan Jane. I found the graves of 6 of their grandchildren (children of Henry DONALDSON) at the Borden Springs Church of Christ. All died very young, the oldest being 5 years, 1 mo. old. Next to them was a grave with a field stone as a marker. On it was carved S. J. DONALDSON. This may be Susan's grave. I understand that the DONALDSONS gave the property for the church there to be built. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with information on the DONALDSON of this area would be appreciated.
