RUSH posted by Jerry ALLEN on Saturday, October 9, 1999

I am searching my maternal grandfather's family by the name of RUSH. The family which included my grandfather, Samuel R. RUSH, his wife Minnie Proctor RUSH, his father William H. RUSH and his father's second wife Martha Johnson RUSH as well as Sam and Minnie's daughter, Lillian Mae is found in the Carroll Co. GA 1900 census, Burwell District. Their birth dates are as follows: Sam, Mar., 1879, and William, May, 1849. Although the census states that they were all born in GA, family lore has the RUSH family coming from AL, possibly from Cleburne Co. I would really appreciate hear- ing from anyone who has knowledge of this Family. -Jerry Allen, Bowdon, GA
