 Coosaby Jack Prather , "the great, great grandson of Ebenezer Pond, the first white settler in the Rockford area of Coosa County, Alabama and his dear friend Chief Black Cloud. The book is in two parts. The first part was written as told to me by my grandfather Henry Wilson Pond the grandson of Ebenezer. The second part is about my life growing up during the Great Depression and World War II in the same location."
