Civil War Headstones
Just take whatever proof you have to the nearest Veterans Administration (VA) Office and they will do the paperwork for you, then all you have to do is stamp it and drop it in the mail; waiting time varies, I have seen it take as long as three months up to a year; you do need to get a VA Form first, from the VA and look on the back of the front sheet, to determine just what you want; they come in upright, white marble or granite and weigh in at 230 pounds; the small flat, 24"x 12'' in colors as above at 130 pounds or the Bronze 24"x12", but you have to provide your own base; weight 18 pounds; all come at no cost to you and delivered to your door by freight liner. the late Homer Jones
