38th Alabama Infantry, Company F, "North River Tigers"
Compiled by: Leland Hamner DaLiHammer@aol.com

The majority are from Fayette County, but there are few from Green (WINSTON, MERIWETHER, EMBRIE, FASON, HARPER and HATTER) and one (ROBERTS) from Jefferson.

Muster Roll as of May 1862--there were additions later as casualties mounted, but, unfortunately, I've not compiled a roll inclusive of all who served in Company F. (yet--it will be done eventually!). These were the original members--very few survived the war.
