Marriage recorded 17 Dec. 1794, Jefferson Co., TN.
Note: The WEAVER family moved to Virginia before settling in Jefferson Co., TN. Nathaniel (sic) THOMPSON and wife, both born 1770/1780, were recorded beside their son John on the 1840 Fayette Co. census. In Sept. 1859, letters of administration for the estate of Nathan THOMPSON were granted to William THOMPSON of Tuscaloosa Co., AL.

Note: Moved to Osage Co., MO, following death of Valentine’s father, George WOLFE Sr., whose will was proved in Hawkins Co., TN, 2 Sept. 1839. His mother was Mary “Polly” BARE. Children lived in Osage Co. In 1860, Mary had 33 living grandchildren according to letter written to William Anderson Musgrove and wife, Susannah Thompson, Mary’s sister (see #3).
