BADGETT-NO. 6 CEMETERY
Location
S27 T6S R11 WFrom Russellville U.S. 43 By-pass, turn right (east) on F43 at the railroad tracks onto County 77. Go 3.4 miles. Turn right (south) on County 77. Go 0.8 mile. Turn right (west) onto an old mining road (in very bad condition). Continue for about a mile to a fork in the road. Turn right (north). The cemetery is at the end of this road, about 0.1 mile.
Strip mining (company no. 6) operations have been conducted on three sides of the cemetery, leaving room for an access road on the south side only. Most of the cemetery was in fairly good condition when the marked graves were recorded on Sept. 21, 1968.
