Person County | Know all men by these presents that I Robert Hester of the County and State aforesaid for & in consideration of the natural Love & affection I have & bear for & to my six grandchildren to wit: Henry Malone, Wright Malone, Robt Pomphery Malone, Nancy Malone, Braudies Malone & Betsy Malone, children of my beloved Daughter Sally Malone the wife of Braudie Malone in the county of Person & State aforesaid. to these children whose names are above written I do give & bequeath & by these presents have given & bequeathed unto them the sd children three Negroes to wit Eady aged twenty one years, William aged two years & Sophie aged six months, these three Negroes with their Increase do I give & deliver unto these my sd grandchildren for these the sd children to have & to hold for their own proper use, Benefit & behoof & I the sd Robert Hester do hereby bind myself my Heirs, Exec-or Admin-or & Assigns to warrant & forever defend the sd Negroes as above described & set forth unto the sd children their Heirs, Exec-ors, Admin-ors & Assigns, Myself, my heirs & Assigns against them & all & every Person or Persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
