GREEN, Carl and Rhoda/Rodie/Rody/Rhody, daughters, Jennie Bell married Dan Goff, Sr. born 1890/91 and Etta, married Baxter Rone, born 1896...lived near Red Bay, Franklin Co. Rhoda died in Booneville, Ms. March 3, 1924, burial unknown. Jennie Bell died 1974 Booneville, Ms. buried Oaklawn Memorial. Etta died 1936, burial unknown(probably near Booneville). Did not find them on 1900 Franklin Co. census microfilm.

Looking for the parents of: RoxieCARLOCK Sarah CARLOCK (b. 1859 AL) William CARLOCK (b. 1864 AL) Sarah and William CARLOCK are found together in the 1880 Census for Tate County MS in the household of Sarah's husband, William C. Potter. We know that Sarah and William are siblings and that they as well as their parents were born in AL. I have a census index record which shows a John CARLOCK being in Franklin Co AL in 1860 but don't have access to the actual record. Is it possible that this John CARLOCK is their father? My great uncleJAMES M HORTON died in Russellville on September 18, 1936. Per his death certificate, it says he was buried in the K. of P. Cemetery. I have seen the name of a K. P. Cemetery using the internet. What does the K.P. initials stand for? Also, if anyone has a cemetery listing, I would appreciate the Horton names buried there and in particular any Horton beside/near James.

WALKER and JAMES. My greatgreat grandfather was Wilburn Walker who married a Native American lady by the name of Lucinda. I am searching for the maiden name of Lucinda. Lucinda died in Russellville, Franklin County in 1908 or 1909. She is buried in KP Cemetery. WILLIAM BURGESS and family moved to Franklin County, Al., prior to 1818, through Tennessee, from South Carolina. The move began after 1810. Born 1742 in Ireland, William Burgess migrated to South Carolina in 1772. I am trying to confirm his death to be in 1838, in Franklin county. It is not clear if his wife,MARY AGNES PARTIN (PARTAIN, PARTEN) was alive when the family reached Alabama. One of the names I believe to be my ggrfather.MARION JAMISON HEIGHT and he is living in the Baggett community. Where did this info come from?....
