I am researching Teenie Malissa Montgomery (born July 8,1878 and died June 16,1953) who married Lorenzo Marion Duren (born December 22,1849 died July 8,1923)I know nothing about her parents except the fact that I think they are James M. and Ada Montgomery.I think she had a brother named William and a sister named Susan. Any help with this family will greatly be appreciated.I would be more than happy to share what information I have on her marriage and her children.I also have pictures of her.

Updated Info: My name is Rondi PATTERSON. I am **still** looking for any information on my ggrandfather, Robert Fletcher PATTERSON probably born in 1847 probably in Franklin Co. He married Feb 14, 1869* to America Victoria NABERS* in Itawamba Co Mississippi*. They had 15 children. America's parents, Wiley Newton NABERS and Martha LESLEY are buried in Ridge Cemetery*, Itawamba County Mississippi*. First child of Robert Fletcher and America was named Mattie Matilda PATTERSON was born on May 4, 1870, in Red Bay, Franklin County, AL. My grandfather, Alonzo Baxter PATTERSON was born in Tuepelo, Mississippi on April 25, 1887. He was their eleventh child. He had a twin that did not survive infancy, who is buried in Baldwyn, Mississippi. Robert Fletcher PATTERSON remains a puzzle, but his parents might be David Nolan PATTERSON b.abt 1820 in Mc Minn County TN and Matilda BATES. I am interested in getting information about Joseph DICKSON's children who moved from Dickson Co. TN to Franklin Co. AL ca. 1820's. I would especially like to know more about Hugh DICKSON and Hannah HICKS and their chldren. Abner DICKSON was also a son of Joseph DICKSON who moved to Franklin Co. but I understand he was disabled in the War of 1812 and never married. Other children of Joseph DICKSON may have settled briefly in Franklin Co. then moved to other locations in AL, MS or back to TN. Information about this family is found on this Website from the military records of the War of 1812. The PEARSALL family of Franklin Co. is also associated with this group that came out of Dickson Co. TN & prior to that Duplin Co. NC

Hey, Does the following person ring any bells in your Collum research? I have been try unsuccessfully to locate his parents names, Phina (actually Plina) is my ggrandmother. - Thanks Steve Nicklas J.T. Collum enlisted May 15, 1861 at Burlison as a private in Company “E” of the 16th Regiment of the Alabama Infantry under Captain W. W. Weatherford and Col. W.B. Wood. In 1862 he transferred to Hawkins Company of Sharpshooters under the command of Captain Tom Steeger and Col. Hawkins. He participated in the battles of Shiloh, Fishing Creek, Green River, Perryville, and Murfreesboro. He was wounded in the battle of Murfreesboro but was never captured or imprisoned. He was in the service five years and was paroled in 1865 at the end of the war in Iuka Mississippi. Mr Collum was born on December 28, 1844 at Burlison in Franklin County, Alabama. He was married April 15, 1866 in Colbert County Alabama and his wife, who was born in Franklin County, is now 57 years old. He was a registered voter in the Cherokee precinct of Colbert County Alabama. He is a farmer by occupation and is now residing with his C.W. Collum. His living children and their address occupations are: W.R. Collum. Mayfield, Ky. – factory worker Rosie Borden, Cherokee, Ala. – farmer Ed Collum, Cherokee, Ala. – farmer Phina Borden, Cherokee, Ala. – (no occupation) Walter Collum, Cherokee, Ala. – farmer C.W. Collum, Cherokee, Ala. – farmer Mr Collum was placed on the pension roll in Franklin County, Alabama and has received all his pension checks. The questionnaire was signed by J.T. Collum June 19, 1921 at Cherokee, Alabama with W.J. Smith as witness. -End Franklin Co., Ala. 1921 Confederate Census- Death Date taken from tombstone in Mhoontown

Does anyone know when William Owen Boyles died and where he is buried? He was born to James A. Boyles and wife Ann in 1843 in Russellville, Franklin Co., Alabama. His son William Wilkerson Boyles was born Nov. 11, 1866 and his wife Mary Frances Bowen remarried in 1869 (Richard Helliums Johnson) He was in his father's household for the 1860 census and was listed as unmarried.

I am looking for any information on William Owen Boyles b. 1842 and d. ?. He was married to Mary Frances Bowen. His son William Wilkerson Boyles was born 1867. His wife remarried in 1869 to Richard Helliums Johnson. I am also looking for information about a Hillaby/Hillibee Church in Russellville. The family history indicated that this is the church the family attended as late as 1890- 1900. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you in advance.
