This is a small cemetery located on a little hill on County Road 221 in Lawrence County, Alabama. It is well tended and kept clean. There are many graves marked with field stones and several that are too faded and worn to read. I walked this cemetery September of 2000 and recorded names and dates from the tombstones in remembrance of my Great-great-grandparents, Martin VanBuren Shelton and Mary Sarah Elmine Kiser Shelton. I will include all that I know about a person in notes after their names.
