Richard Jones graduated at the University of Georgia at Athens and
served with cerdit as an officer in the war of 1812. His father was a
distinguished solider of the Revolution, lost a leg at Cuildford Court
House. He Lived and died enjoying the unqualified love and esteem of his
children  grandchildren and all who knew him.

"Mark he perfect man and behold the upright man for the end of that man
is peace"
