was born Dec 7, 1861 Ala, died Oct 20,1920 married 
Sarah Mandy Segars (1/4 cherokee), they were double first cousins.
Sarah was born Sept 10, 1858 died Mar 25, 1937
They are buried in the Alexander-Welborn cemetery
in Pin Hook, Lawrence Co.Al this cemetery was part of 
Gus & Sarah's property.

Gus was the son of Lockey Benjamin Welbon & Matha E. Segars Welborn
Sarah was the dau of pascal Sandy Segars ( Civil War soldier, died during the war)
and Mary E. Welborn , (Mary married Jeremiah Naylor 2nd)
