Jones Girls

This photo was in my mother-in-law's personal effects.  She never talked about her family except her mother, Laura Elizabeth Jones Clark.  Recently, through the Internet, I located George Washington Jones' second family which was Laura's half-brothers and sisters.  GW Jones left or divorced her mother, Mary Jane Long.  We do not know the date.    Through this half family, we found out that Laura had two sisters which was a mystery to us.  As soon as we found this picture (which was found recently) we knew it had to have been the sisters.   GW Jones and Mary Jane Long married in Lawrence County, AL.  They lived there through the Civil War and the birth of their children.  Laura Elizabeth was born at Wheeler Station.  Wilson & Dorothy Clanton & Wilma Jean Jones
