Looking for
information about any CAPPS families living in Lee Co around 1870. I believe
they are related to my husband's ancestor Catherine A. Capps who married William
Murphy in Russell Co in 1848. In 1880 the Murphy family lived in Macon Co. Their
son, Wiley Whitfield Murphy married Mary Jane O'Guin in Macon Co in 1886. Elna

info on William Fuller and wife Elizabeth "Lizzie" Gilmer (Gilmore) Fuller. They
had a son William Lee Fuller born Jan. 24, 1867, a son John Judson Fuller born

Trying to locate
my Grandmother family or history of the family.I have very little.She was born
1862-1889 in Opelika Al.1st marriage when she was 11 yrs old.He was kill in a
fight on her fathers River boat.Her father was kill when he fell off his boat.He
froze to death.I can not find any info on these happenings.She then married John

have on a Taylor relative is below: Benjamin Washington Taylor, b. 25 Aug. 1820,
SC. d. 5 Aug. 1910. m. Anne Olivia Donaldson, b. 6 Sep. 1827, AL. d. 12 Aug.
1912. Both buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Opelika AL. I would like to confirm
this information, and also to know if B.W. had relatives in Opelika or Lee
county during the latter 1800s. He came from Coffee Co. and may have had close

I am looking for
M.M. Pitts he could be Mike or Michael. He was born 1850 and died 8/22/1912 at
the age of 62. His children are Evvie Pitts 11/1/1879, Minnie Pitts 9/1885, Mark
Andrew Pitts 10/21/1888, and Permelia America Pitts 9/17/1891. I can't find who
M.M. Pitts is or who his wife was. He must have married bet. 1876 and 1878 and I
figure it was in Lee County since he lived there, and a few of his children
(Evvie and Mark) are buried in the Hephzibah Cemetary off Lee 252. Permelia was
my husband's grandmother. In the cemetery Mark and Evvie in buried in front of
America A. Meadows Betts 10/19/1826 and Andrew Betts 8/19/1845. I found a
Michael M. Pitts married a Fannie Betts in Lee county 11/16/1876. I have no idea
if there is a connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I live in
North Carolina and only had one day to grave search. This is all I can find.

Hill born 1852/54 married Amanda McAnally Lee Co., Ala. 1873. He was on the
census for Lee Co., 1880. Father was Wade Hampton Hill, born 1827 Married
Rebecca Obediance Newton.Grandson, James Wesley Hill,(father James Madison
Hill)was listed on this census also. Last known possibly near Beulah, Alabama.
James Madison Hill and Amanda McAnally Hill moved to the Prattville, Autauga Co.
area of Alabama. They were there in the year 1912. Anyone who would know about a
