Now there is an email list for Alabama Census.

AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L

Topic: A mailing list for anyone desiring a check of this state's census records for their ancestors. Requests should be as specific as possible and include county name, specific family of interest, and year whenever possible. In addition, those who own or have access to census records and are willing to do lookups are asked to subscribe and assist in responding to queries.

For questions about this list, contact the list administrator at AL-CENSUS-LOOKUP-admin@rootsweb.com.

Send Comments or Submissions to Carolyn Golowka, Macon County Coordinator

I do not live in Alabama so I am unable to help with your personal research questions. All the information I know about Macon County is posted promptly on this site. Please visit the "Research Resources" section of this site. I would suggest that if you don't find the information your looking for here, that you join the email list and post your question on the query board. The more places you ask the question, the better your chances of getting an answer.
