Continuity gives us roots, change gives us branches.
Both are needed if we are to grow and reach new heights.

Welcome to the website of the
Maple Hill Chapter,
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Our chapter was organized May 22, 2011 in Huntsville, Alabama,
and confirmed by the National Society on June 27, 2011. The
purpose of this chapter is to meet the DAR needs of those ladies who are unable to
attend weekday meetings, whatever the reason.
The National Society of the Daughters of the American
Revolution (DAR) was founded October 11, 1890 and incorporated by an Act
of Congress in 1896. Its mission is to promote historic preservation,
education, and patriotism.
More than 836,000 women have joined DAR since it was
founded. The current membership is approximately 168,000 women belonging to
3,000 chapters in all states and the District of Columbia. Additional
chapters are located in Australia, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, France,
Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
We are glad you stopped by. Please browse the rest of
