ADAMSON, STEPHENS posted by Debbie Hulsey Zouras on Friday, June 13, 1997

Would like to make contact with anyone searching the Thomas STEPHENS family of Randolph Co AL. Would like to determine if he was a brother to my ancestor, Simion Sylvester STEPHENS b. 1818 GA who died in Clayton Co GA. My information shows that Thomas was b. 1813 GA and married Mary Amanda ADAMSON. I have an old notebook that belonged to Green Berry STEPHENS, my gg-gf and the possible nephew of Thomas, that simply states, "Thomas STEPHENS, Lamar PO AL". It also contains similiar small notes on others whom I believe must belong to this STEPHENS family. I have no real evidence that there is a family connection between Thomas and Simion Sylvester other than they lived in the same area of GA (Henry & Clayton Co's) and the brief notes made by my gg-gf. I think he must have been recording addresses of relatives. Any help piecing together the earlier generations will be most appreciated.
