McKENZIE - McKENSIE...Need info on parents of Alexander Franklin McKENZIE found on census for Randolph co. Al in 1850-60-70-80- and died there 13 Feb.1894. Who were the parents of his wife Malinda___? Believe Alexander's parents to be Kenneth & Elizabeth ______McKENZIE who were found on 1850 census next door to Alex. and Malinda. Children of .Alexander & Malinda included : Wm, Joseph S., Elizabeth, John Franklin, Winston, Sarah Jane, Prisley W., Patrick R., & Elijah E.McKENZIE . Any help greatly appreciated.

Searching for descendants of Benjamin F. & Mary J. WALKER who was on the 1910 census records for Randolph. Co. There were two children listed; William (19) & Alice (16). Also, searching for the descendants of John DANIEL & Obediah SATTERWHITE. Their children lived in northern Chamber Co. & Randolph Co. Many of their kin were buried the Mt. Hickory Primitive Baptist Church located neat Miltown.

HARCROW..Need info. on Hugh HARCROW Sr. who died in Randolph co. AL, 23 July 1846. He was listed in Elbert co GA on 1820-30 census. 1840 in Randolph co. AL. Who were his parents? Who was his wife? She probably died between 1840 & 1846 in Randolph co. Children of Hugh HARCROW included Samuel b. ca 1793 GA mar. 1817 Alphia GINN, Hugh Jr. b. ca 1802 mar. 1827 Sarah POWELL, Peggy who mar. Simon GILBERT, David mar . 1834 to Joicee POWELL, & Rachel who mar. 1833 to Peter JOHNSON. Any help greatly appreciated.

CROW--CROWDERS My grandmother Annie Virginia CROW was born in Rock Mills Alabama in 1874. Her father Henry Washington CROW was born there in 1849. My gr-gr grandparents both died in Rock Mills and I would like to locate their graves if possible. Joshua Browning CROW died in 1863 and his wife Elizabeth (CARTER) Crow died 1876. There could have been other of their children who remained there. Any information concerning these Crow ancestors of mine would be appreciated. Have no information on who the parents of Elizabeth Carter was. She was suppose to have been born in S. C. in 1824.

Listed in 1850 Randolph Co with son Josiah Speed SPIKES (b 1823 SC) who married Nancy Ann ALMON. She was listed in 1850 Heard Co, GA census with parents Hezekiah ALMON & Elizabeth TAYLOR d/o Josiah TAYLOR & Sussannah GLANTON.

Looking for information regarding Henry Sylvester WALKER. He was born abt 1850 in AL and died between 1919 and 1927. He married Alizada Ema RAY before 1869. His children were born in Clay Co., so he's probably from the area. Would appreciate any information about him, his siblings, and his parents.

Looking for Summerlin ancestor of Glisson SUMMERLIN, born 1805 North Carolina, died 1882 Delta, Al. Family tradition says that Glisson lived with family in Ga. ca 1820-1840 prior to relocating to Randolph County Alabama and what is now Clay County Alabama. Glisson married Mary C. (Polly) OWEN born c.1815 in SC and died 1881, Delta Al. Glisson and Polly buried at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church cemetary, Delta Alabama. Need help with marriage record or county of residence in Georgia. Would like to link with anyone else working on OWEN(s) or SUMMERLIN line in West Ga., Randolph Co. Alabama, or Clay County Alabama.
Glisson SUMMERLIN and decendents, Glisson b. 1805 NC, d. Shiloh (Delta AL) Community in Old Randolph County and now Clay County. Glisson SUMMERLIN married Mary C. "Polly" OWEN (b 1815 SC, d. 1881 Clay County AL)of the David OWEN family. Currently compiling information on this family. Need information especially on those family members that migrated out of Clay/Randolph Counties. If you have information on this family, please send it my way.

Seeking info on Thomas WHITE, son of William WHITE Sr. and Nancy HOOPER WHITE. Thomas, born about 1773 in Lunenburg Co., VA., along with his family emmigrated to Pendleton Dist., SC during the Revolution. The name of his wife is unknown but the names of their sons were Nathaniel H., William C., Peyton Henry, John G.and George W. and other sons and daughters whose names are unknown. Thomas was in Franklin Co., GA about 1800 and then emmigrated into AL sometimes in the 1820-30's. He lived in the Cleburne/Calhoun/Randolph and Clay county areas for several years and died in Calhoun county in the 1840's. Any info on Thomas his siblings would be appreciated

Surname is: MOORE. I believe that some of my ancestors could be buried in the Cemeteries located in Wedowee, Randolph Co.,AL.. Birdong THORNTON 1860 Randolph Co. Census, Post Office, Rock Mills. Can anyone tell me where to find a copy of this census? I have scoured my library's federal census films, but they don't show this Birdong THORNTON anywhere. I have a partial copy that shows Birdong & family, Rock Mills at the top (the rest is cut off). Please help! Mike
