I am searching for information on my Great Great Grandfather Henry KNIGHT. He died about 1841. His wife Lucretia BROWN Knight was in Randolph Co, AL Census in 1850 with her children. I think Henry came from Walton Co, GA. He may also have lived for awhile in Tallapoosa Co, around Dadesville before moving to Randolph Co. I would appreciate any clue as to where Henry came from, or who his parents were.

HALL, HAYNES, JACKSON, WOODS posted by Frankie Carlin Meyer on Thursday, April 9, 1998

JACKSON, WOODS, HALL, HAYNES Am researching the descendants of the JACKSONS of Greene County, Georgia, who intermarried with the WOODS, HALL, and HAYNES families. Their descendants settled near Wedowee and Roanoke in Randolph Counties in the middle to late 1800's. The JACKSON family oral legend of my husband's line which moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, is that they are descended from an uncle of Andrew JACKSON. Frankie Carlin Meyer fjmeyer@4state.com
