Searching for info on children of Pheraby CARDWELL and William Washington CULPEPPER who were living in Randolph Co., AL in 1860 & 1870 Cenus years, This family moved to Marshall Co., AL about 1888. Pheraby & William Washington CULPEPPER had 11 children. Nancy Ann Frances Elizabeth CULPEPPER married Britain BUSBY. Mary Louisa Katherine CULPEPPER married William D. PHILLIPS. William Joseph R. CULPEPPER married Margaret E. BARRON. James Daniel CULPEPPER died at 2 or 3 yrs of age. Robert Benjamin CULPEPPER married Dora Virginia HAND. Thomas Wilson CULPEPPER married Lela Eola MOON. Malina Rebecca CULPEPPER married James J. MOORE. Sarah Minnie L. CULPEPPER married Rufus GIPSON. Columbus Lafayette CULPEPPER died before 1880. Louis Alphord Culpepper married Anna Liza Jane JOHNSON. Ellen Arline CULPEPPER married Rev. J. Edward LOWERY. I am interested in this family because the mother, Pheraby CARDWELL was the daughter of John Franklin CARDWELL and Pheraby GOSDEN. These are my husban's great great grandparents. Would be willing to share info with anyone.

Looking for my great grandfather Frank HURST, born about 1842 - 1845. He was the father of John Casual or Cassel HURST, born abt, 1866, possibly in Gadsen (sp). I can locate only one Frank which was in the 1850 Census for Randolph Count, Beat 3, shows a Franklin HURST, age 21, and a Sarah A. HURST, age 20, as married within the year, both from Georgia. Can anyone provide information on this family? Thanks!

I am searching for descendants of Elias EAST and F. A. C. POOL/E EAST. Elias was born 14 Aug. 1840 in Alabama (supposedly Randolph Co.) F. A. C. was born in 1840 also. Elias was the son of Zealous and Mahulda ARMOUR EAST. I have received info recently that the EAST may be Indian, they said Cherokee, but I am wondering if it might Creek? They had at least three children, Beulah, my gr grandmother, b. 30 Oct. 1867; Robert "Bob", b. 7 April 1870; and Z. H. (female), married to a Furlow. I have information on the ARMOURs and on East that I will be glad to share.

I would appreciate any information on the BOYD family of Randolph County during the 1850s and before. I believe this family came from Meriwhether and Carroll counties in Georgia from 1800-1840. Alexander BOYD is listed on the 1850 census of Randolph county. Any help would be appreciated!

I am looking for Susan F. BAILEY, born Jul 1834 in Georgia. She married John R. SIGGERS. In 1880, they were living in the Village Louina, Randolph County, Alabama. John was a shoemaker and had a disable hand from a snake bite. They have children listed: J. Franklin, born about 1861; Louisa A., born about 1863, she married a PIKE; George, born about 1865; Thomas N., born about 1867, he may have married a Benton; Z.O. (female) born about 1872; A.F. (female) born about 1875; Cephus B., born about 1878. They also had another child Hanna B. (male) born about 1880. In 1910, Susan BAILEY SIGGERS is living with her son Cephus B. I am looking for the family of Jonathan BAILEY, born about 1836/37 in Georgia. He is listed on the 1860 Rockdale, Randolph County, Alabama Census. His wife is listed as Elizabeth ?, born about 1841 in Georgia. His children is listed as E.F. (female) born about 1858/59, and W.J.M (male) age 2 months old. He is listed on the July 2, 1862, Muster Roll for Capt. W.T. Smith, Calvary Company, Alabama Volunteers, Hillard's Legion. He is a Private, age 25, joined for duty in Randolph County, Alabama. I am looking for Tempy Caroline BAILEY SHELNUTT. She has been listed as Tempy, Tempist and Caroline. She was born about 1841/42 in Georgia. She is listed on the 1850 and 1860 census with her father. She is listed on the 1870 Township 20, Randolph County, Alabama, living with her brother, Patrick, as Caroline SHELNUTwith her daughters, Rebecca born about 1861, and Lucy born about 1868. In 1880, she is on the Franklin County, Alabama Census, working as a farmhand on Thomas JOHNSON's farm. She is listed as Tempist SHELLNOT with her daughters: Lucy, age 14, and Nancy, age 2. I am looking for Edgar "Ed" Ivan BAILEY, born Jan 1868 in Randolph County, Alabama. He married Martha (maiden unknown). They had one son Ruebin BAILEY, born Jul 1892. Martha died in Randolph County, Alabama. Ed then married Belle HARMON on 4 Sep 1910. She was born 15 Jan 1874. Liskey (Alaska) Bell A. BAILEY. Bell and Liskey are buried at Rock Stand. Ed died in Randolph County, Alabama 9 Feb 1934. I have no idea where Ruebin went. Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thank, Belinda
