BOWEN/ADDINGTON: I am trying to find the birth and marriage of Harriet Mountoria ADDINGTON and James M. BOWEN. I know that he died in 1869 and there were 2 or 3 children. One of the children was Tom BOWEN (my g-grandfather), but I cannot find his birth. I found Harriet and two children enumerated with their grandfather, J. W. ADDINGTON, in Randolph County. After that I cannot find her. I would love to know what happened to her

GAUNTT family is of interest to me. I first have the family in Sandwich, Massachusetts in the early colonial days,then on to Egg Harbor, New Jersey, and on to Newberry County, South Carolina. Finally, my gggrandparents John and Winnie GAUNTT turn up in Randolph County, GA. John died April 27, 1858 in Roanoke. Winnie lived until June 19, 1888. Their daughter Elizabeth was my ggrandmother. She married Thomas STANFORD. Does anyone know anything about this family? I will be glad to share the information I have.

ANDERSON & LOTT: James William ANDERSON, ca 1825 married Elizabeth LOTT, ca 1820 in Benton County Alabama in 1843. They were in Randolph County, in 1850 & 1860. James was killed in Civil War and his wife and children moved to Texas after the war. I am looking for any information on these families, parents, siblings. Children were William md Patience KING; David md Serena JENNINGS / Lucinda ROBINSON and Nancy WOODSTON; John Jackson md Tibitha Olive PRUETT; Henry md Julia Ann TALLEY; Daniel Mercer md Lavina THOMPSON; Rebecca Margaret md William PARRISH and Peter TAYLOR; Washington md Mary M HARGETT; Peter Lewis md Matilda SMITH; and Betsy died young. Most children came to Randolph, Talladega and Clay counties. Some moved on to TX. The CLINEs probably came from TN into Carroll Co GA, Harris Co GA, then to AL. Any help appreciated. FUTRELL I am researching the FUTRELL's from Ala. I have reason to believe my ggrandfather, Andrew Jackson FUTRELL served in the Civil War in 1862-1864. He supposedly was in the 20th Reg. Inf of Ala. She was said to be a descendent of the Andrew Jackson family line. (I believe my Grandfather said A. J. was my 5th great uncle, but could have that mixed up.) Mary LeNora married Kinchen Lea CLEGG b. 1852, and their son Kentchen Marvin CLEGG b. 1884 was my grandfather. Am researching the family of Zachariah Jones WRIGHT Jr who was in the banking business in Roanoke during the early 1900's. His daughter, Ida WRIGHT, b 02-05-1890 , Tallapoosa County, married a W F DANIELLY, aka Billie DANLEY. Mr. Danielly was in the retail merchant drugs business in Roanoke. At the time the 1920 Census was taken, they lived on Chestnut Street. They had two children that I know of: Joe, b ABT 1913 and Frances, b ABT 1916. I am trying to get any information on Emma THORNTON who died around 1901. All I have found is the listing where my grandfather was born (no father listed) in Dec. 1897. After she died my grandfather was adopted by the POWELL family. This all took place around Randolph County before part of the County became Clay County. I haven't found anything in the Clay County history. If you could help with any information it would be appreciated.
