Seeking information on GARRISON's which were in Randolph Co, AL in 1850. Listed on an 1850 census were: Thomas C. 32yrs b GA; Rebecca 26yrs b GA; David 7yrs b AL; S. 5yrs b AL; Comilia 4yrs b AL; Margaret 3yrs b AL; and James 1yr b AL. If I have the correct family here, they next showed up in an 1860 Rusk Co, TX census. Any help appreciated.

I would like any information on my mother, Lois Jerrene TAYLOR, who died in 1969 in Wadley. All I know about her is that she was born in Wadley and that she had 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was married to my father in 1949 and left in 1953 or maybe 1954. Any information would be appreciated.

Samuel CRUISE/CREWS and his second wife Priscillia GILBERT d. of Jacob GILBERT moved from Talladega to Randolph Co in the 1860's. He had children by his first wife - Mary Ann STRINGER, d. of John STRINGER of GA. Children with Mary STRINGER - 1. Mary Ann (m. Thomas BEDFORD, Jacob GILBERT), 2. Martha Jane (S/CENTALL), 3. James Thomas CRUISE m. 1. Rosa CARPENTER, 4. Eliza, 5. William Samuel, 6. Barbara Catherine, 7. John A. , 8. Emily, 9. Virginia. Did he have children with Priscillia? Would like to reach any heirs from any of these children.

Seeking info on James Madison STRICKLAND and wife, Martha JOHNS (daughter of Zachariah JOHNS). They were in Randolph Cty, and then became a part of Clay County. Both are buried at Cragford Cem. in Clay Cty. Also seeking info on their children, James William STRICKLAND, married Mary Ellen ROBINSON, John W. STRICKLAND married Dusty DANIELS, Susan P. STRICKLAND, married Will MIZE, and Lavicey E. STRICKLAND, married James Lisco HUDGINS. Seeking information about David C. WILLINGHAM, son of Harvey WILLINGHAM and his wife, Mary HARDMAN, who were in Randolph County AL before 1850 census. David WILLINGHAM served during The War Between the States in the 47th AL Infantry Reg't, CSA, with his brothers, Thomas J. and James Henry. Thomas J. was killed in VA in 1862; David C. and James Henry were paroled in April 1865 at Appomattox Courthouse, VA at the close of The War. James Henry returned to Randolph County and married Julia Ann Missouri OVERTON. What happened to David C. WILLINGHAM after his parole at Appoxmattox? Did he return to Randolph County? Can anyone help?

My great-grandparents were Rufus (A.R.) and Ella CLINE who lived around the turn of the century. Among my great- grandfather's posessions was a deed belonging to Peter and Matilda CLINE. Seeking information on Lucinda TURNER, b ca 1815, who signed a probate document in 1891. The document was sent back to Fayette County Georgia. Noted by her signature was: "signed in Randolph Co Alabama". Could this be the wife/widow of Thomas TURNER, mother of Kinion, Noah S, Sarah E, Francis M, William p, and Lewis C? Looking for information on the family of John T CLIFTON and Mary Ann STRICKLAND CLIFTON of Randolph County. I have been told that they are buried at the old Wedowee Cemetery but haven't been able to confirm this. John T CLIFTON is the son of Cement Floyd CLIFTON and Nancy JACKSON of Troup, GA. The family of Clement CLIFTON is listed on the 1850 Randolph County Census. John and Mary Ann had ten children: Georgia Ann b June 21, 1852 m James Samuel MITCHELL, John Henry c 1856, Mary Caldonia b March 1, 1859 m Andrew Jackson OWENS, Thomas Clemith/Clemy c 1861 m Augusta COOPER, Josephine c 1865 m John WALDROP, William L b Feb 1867 m Cordelia, Joseph Nathaniel b Jan 13, 1871 m Martha Elizabeth CARTER, Wiley J c 1875 m 1st Mozela Overton 2nd Biddie Overton, Nancy c 1877, Missouri b Feb 1880. I would like any information relating to this family but am especially interested in Thomas Clemy and Augusta COOPER CLIFTON. I believe he may have been married prior, left AL for TX and married Augusta in LA on his return trip home.

Searching for info on Dicie Carolina EAST born April 24,1840 in GA. Dicie married Martin VanBuren HAMMOND on October 21, 1859. I have a copy of the Southern Division of Randolph County, AL taken September 18, 1860. Martin and Dicie was listed on this census as well as Martin's father, Elijah HAMMOND. Dicie and Martin later had the following children: Elizabeth Ann, William Thomas, Daniel L., John Hiram, Robert Alexander, and Mary Francis. TURNER,Thomas and Lucinda: moved to Randolph Co sometime after 1862 from Polk Co GA. Older children Kinion(Kenyon), Andrew J, and George W were engaged in the WONA.Andrew & George were killed; Kinion (and possibly Noah)moved back to Fayette Co GA where they were raised. The whereabouts of Thomas and Lucinda were unknown until last week. Other child ren were:Francis M, Sarah E, Thomas M, William P, Noah S, Lewis C. Only Mary (age 8,b GA) and Madison (evidently John Madison - as he is John 8/12 on the 1860 Polk Co GA census) are listed on the 1870 Randolph Co census. Madison is listed on the 1900 census, Rt 12 Bacon Level District. LLucinda died in 1886, as listed in a book I found. Any help will be appreciated, and information on Kinon's family, and other Fayette Co GA TURNERs shared. Associated families are QUICK,WILKINSON
