Seeking information about a Louie Dewitt WATSON born 11/17/1904, in Ga(?). Louie died in Roanoke, Randolph Co on April 1 1966. The informant was his wife, Mary BURGER WATSON, the dau of George HATTAWAY and Maggie WILKERSON who stated she lived at Rt 1, Roanoke AL. Louie's parents were Thomas Lynclay WATSON and Clara Belle CARROLL. The death certificate states he was buried at Lanett Al in Chambers Co Al. I'm looking for the parents of Elijah McPHERSON circa 1805. Elijah and wife Nancy(need maiden name) are listed in the 1850 Randolph Co., AL census as born in SC. The problem I'm having is there are two Elijah's in the same area and close in age. He is also listed in an industrial census as a potter with 6 men in his employ.

I have been doing some family research and have ended up in Randolp County where my GGGGrandfather was found on the 1850 census. William P. REAGIN. It looks like he was born in Virginia, but was in Randolph, post office, Rockdale for about 20-30 years. I sure would love any other information.
