Texas born 1857 d 1860, 2. John born 1861. Possible brother of William listed in 1860 Census - John C. HANSON born 1847. William HANSON was a Justice of the Peace in Lee County, Ala. in 1860. Susan HARRELL born 1800 and her daughter Eliza born 1838 were listed in the 1860 Census of Randolph County, Alabama. Susan Harrel age 70 was living with the Bennett & Lou HODGES family in the 1870 Census. Susan Harrell was living next door to John J. CHEWNING in the 1860 Census. She is believed to be the widow of Josiah HARREL or HARRELL who she married in 1828 in Monroe Co., Ga. Looking for information about this family.

WILLIAMS, BENNETT, ALLEN -- I am looking for William and Cynthia WILLIAMS who shows up on the 1850 Randolph Co. AL census. Their son Joshua I believe is my greatgrand father who move to MS sometime before the civil war. I need a deed, birth record, court records something to find if the family stayed in AL or moved on. I believe a son Noah and David M. went to MS also before the war. Noah moved on to ARK after the war. JJ (Joseph Joshua ) stayed in MS and so did David M. The ALLEN and BENNETT families seemed to travel with them. My JJ married into the BENNETT Family. Sarah a daughter of John Fletcher and Matilda ALLEN BENNETT. Can anyone help me. Jane

James H. age 39 married 10 years, Mary E. age 34 mother of 5 living 4, Exah a14, Iva E. a9, Mabel P. a6, John age 2. Mary Elizabeth was the daughter of Madison Polk & Nancy F. HOLLOWAY CHEWNING and the granddaughter of John J. & Jane Scott CHEWNING all of Randolph/Chambers County, Alabama. Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.

HAM/HAMM/HAMP -- Does anyone have information on Rebecca HAMP (Believed to be HAM) that is in 1850 census of Randolph Co. Children: Mary 26, Ellen 24, Severn? 22, Malvin? 20? Next door is William HAMP and Eliza with Solomon 3 and Georgia 1. This is the same William HAM who is in Perry Co. by 1860. Need to know where in NC they came from and possibly the name of Rebecca's Husband. Need to find descendents of any of the children of Rebecca and who they married. Thanks, Mary

MCDONALD, and HELDBRAND, or HILDBRANDT, not sure how the last one is spelt. My ggggrand father Baily Harvey MCDONALD married my ggggrand mother Amanda (HILDBRAND) in Randolf county. Baily's father was Seaborn, his mom was Rhoda BLACKSTONE. His grandfather was Samual MCDONALD. His brothers were John, Josiah, Samual, and Kerney. His sisters were Marha, Frances, Rhoda, Eliza, Armenia, Ida, and Mary. Amanda's father was Jacob and it's said the family was either cherokee or had cherokee in it.
