BURDICK, JOHNSON, STONE posted by Steve Stone on Wednesday, July 3, 2002

Looking for information regarding Jeremiah STONE, who lived in Randolph Co. at least through the 1830s and 1840s. He should be listed on the 1840 census, but I do not have access to those records. My main interest is in documenting his wife's name. Records indicate that he was married to Sarah JOHNSON, who was born in the same area of SC as Jeremiah, c.1790. There are web postings for a Jeremiah STONE living in AL who are parents of Jeremiah Jr., but those records indicate Jeremiah Sr. was married to Sarah BURDICK. Trying to ensure I don't document the wrong line if there are indeed 2 lines of Jeremiah STONEs. If anyone has information, please help. Great help would be a listing of Jeremiah STONE's childrens' names. I have lots of records on the family lineage of Jeremiah STONE of Spartanburg and Anderson Co.s, plus his brothers and sisters, in case anyone else is researching the line. Thanks, Steve Stone Grand Bay, AL
