MOON - Have three ancestors who lived in Heard Co., GA but joined Confederacy in Randolph Co., AL. Josiah F. and John G. MOON joined 17th Regiment but their brother Jonathan A. MOON joined Hilliard's Legion. Can anyone tell me what Regiment number is Hilliard's Legion? Would appreaciate any leads. Thank you.

I am researching information on my great grandmother Lucinda TAYLOR Hasdorff. She was born in Alabama on February 14, 1842 or 1843. She was listed in the 1850 Randolph County Census at age 7. Her father was William W. TAYLOR and mother was Margaret. Her parents are listed as being born in Georgia. Her siblings were listed as Baldwin age 10, Martha age 9, Henry age 8, Jane age 4 and William age 2. She met and married my great grandfather Christoph Hasdorff in Texas about 1876. She passed away in San Antonio, TX on August 11, 1911

Looking for Jesse W. WALLACE. Born in Georgia 1826. Married Catharine WILKINS 1845 in Chambers County, Alabama. Two kids, John born 1847 and Norval born 1850 both in Randolph County. Catharine and Norval moved on to Texas about 1852. Need help finding Jesse's parents.

Looking for anyone who would know about John A.C. JONES listed in the Randolph co Al census. I desc from Champion T T JONES, his son. I know that they were in Alabama and was in Panola Co Texas by 1850. John's wife I think is Martha W. JENKINS. Just about all his children were born in alabama. sure hope that someone can help me. Would especially like to learn more about the parents of Stephen -- Elizabeth and Enoch BISHOP. Is there a family bible anywhere? O., age 24, wife Nancy Caroline BUTLER, age 21 and 2 daughters Delila C., age 3 and Lucy J., age 1. They moved to Coosa County, now Elmore County, between 1860 and the time of his enlistment in the Confedrate Army in 1862. Does anyone have any info. Thanks.

Have heard that Raiford Bell WHITTEN is buried at Roanoke, died about 1929. He was born 27 Jan 1854 in GA, son of Alfred C. WHITTEN, who is buried at a Baptist Church at Roanoke. Raiford Bell is said to have died in Troup Co., Ga., brought to Roanoke for burial. Where is he buried?
