Would like to correspond with anyone researching the surname MARTIN in or around Randolph County. Need information on the family of Jack MARTIN, born cl8l7 in Georgia and wife, Mary, born cl820. Family listed in l860 census of Randolph Co. Children were: John MARTIN, W. MARTIN, Stephan MARTIN, Mary MARTIN, Jacob MARTIN, Jack MARTIN, Cricket MARTIN and Buncomb MARTIN .... all born between l843 and l857. Will exchange information.

Where is Mrs. Elliot's Graveyard? It is mentioned in the book the Hisotrical Records of Randolph County, Alabama 1832-1900 by Marilyn Barefield. William Penn JACKSON and his wife Mary Nancy WALTHALL are buried there (according to the book).

Researching the surname MARTIN in Randolph County. Am interested in the family of Jack and Mary MARTIN, listed in the l860 census of that county. Jack MARTIN born in Georgia cl8l7 and Mary born GA cl8l8. Children listed in l860 census were: John, William, Stephen, Mary, Jacob, Jack, Cricket, Buncomb ... all born bewteen l843 and l857. Also interested in the family of J. W. MARTIN, wife Mary J., listed in same l860 census. Will exchange information.

I am searching for any infomation on Green MOORE born 1791 or his brother George MOORE b. 1793. George and Polly are in the 1860 Tallapoosa census. We are trying to find the name of first wife of George MOORE. Thanks for any info.

Looking for husband of Cynthia LEE who lived in Randolph CO AL in 1850 in the Rockdale (Levens Chapel) area. She is listed in the 1850 US census Cynthia LEE with 5 children; Elizabeth 20, Henry 17, James 15, Francis 12 and John 12. Please suggest areas where I might look for record of her husband. Children were born in TN.

I am seeking information on Elizabeth MURNER who moved to Randolph County from Ga. in 1860. She had two daughters Georgia Ann and Josephine listed on the 1860 Fox Hollow Randolph County census. Two sons, James H. and Joshua were grown and probably married by 1870.

Sarah Pricillia married William Henry BENEFIELD they were divorced and then he married her sister Roxie. Sarah then married her exhusbands son's father-in-law John A DELOACH

I am looking for information on my great great grandfather J.H. ABBOTT (James Henry-I believe). Family connections of FARRAR and CADENHEAD. Lived and visited the area in 1920 & 1930s. I am also looking for Alice ABBOTT. Both lived in LaGrange, Ga. with relatives. I believe Alice ABBOTT left LaGrange after 1928 problely moving back to Randolph Co. Thanks so much
