The RAN-CLAY Mailing List
RAN-CLAY is a mailing list for anyone who has an interest in genealogy related to East Central Alabama, including Randolph, Clay, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Chambers, and Coosa counties. Mailing address for postings is ran-clay-l@rootsweb.com.
Subscribing
There are two versions of the list to choose from:
ran-clay-l is for individual messages to be delivered to your e-mail address. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, you will receive a copy of the message. To subscribe send an e-mail message to: ran-clay-l-request@rootsweb.com with one word in the body of the message: subscribe
ran-clay-d is for a digest of several accumulated messages to be delivered to your email address. As each subscriber to the list sends messages to the list address, they are put into a digest to be delivered later. The digest is generated approximately once a day and delivered to digest subscribers. This option is handy for people who don't want multiple messages to accumulate in their mail box. To subscribe send an email message to: ran-clay-d-request@rootsweb.com with one word in the body of the message: subscribe
Once your subscription request has been processed by the SmartList server at Rootsweb, you will receive a welcome note with instructions on how to unsubscribe and how to contact the list owner if you have any problems.
