Welcome to the Netherland Antilles GenWeb page. These six islands are the overseas territory of The Netherlands. They are about 550 miles apart, in two differing sections of the Caribbean. Curaçao and Bonaire are in the far eastern Caribbean, off the northwestern coast of Venezuela. Saba, Sint Maarten and Sint Eustatius are in a group east of Puerto Rico. For genealogy purposes, the island of Aruba will be included on this site. (This island seceded from the Netherland Antilles in 1986.) It can be found about 15 miles north of Venezuela.
