This photograph was provided years ago to the Retired Teacher of Carroll County by Bessie (Minick) Atchley. It is said to be the Boyd School located approximately three miles southwest of Oak Grove during the 1915 school year. However, the name of the school written on the sign does not appear to be either Boyd or Oak Grove. Bessie Atchley and Geneva Waterman were sisters who gave many years of service as Carroll County teachers.
