The original entrance to the Piggott Cemetery when it was known as the Lowrance Cemetery

A random shot taken at the Lowrance Cemetery at Piggott. The huge old shade trees and the nearby pond make this part of the Piggott Cemetery a very serene and restful place.

????, Caroline (surname may be WILDER?)
PHOTO
*The tree has grown a bit since Caroline was buried and her stone set. I could not make out any other information on the stone. Her stone is next to Frances J. WILDER's, listed below. Is Caroline part of your family? Can you help us with the rest of the stone's inscription?

????, Elizabeth

PHOTO 2
*If you look very closely you can see Elizabeth's name carved into the stone in the first photo. The second photo shows the location of Elizabeth's grave near the entrance to the old Lowrance Cemetery. Do you know who Elizabeth is?

McNIEL, ????
PHOTO
*The lamb on this broken stone leads me to think this McNiel was a child. The date of birth appears to be 1886, maybe. Do you have any other info about this broken stone in the old Lowrance Cemetery?

SPENCE, Evelyn
Jan. 5, 1906
Nov. 23, 1909
PHOTO
*I'm not related to this family, but thought this particular grave was somewhat special, so I took a photo. It's located in the oldest part of the cemetery, the old Lowrance Cemetery.

WILDER, Frances J.
PHOTO
*I'm not sure, but I think the inscription under Frances' name reads, "Formerly SALES." Her year of birth is 1816 and she died in 1888. As you can see, the tree she's buried under is quickly hiding her stone. Her stone is next to "Caroline's", listed above, in the Lowrance Cemetery.
