Members Helping Members (NEW)
On the second Thursday of every month, VGS is sponsoring a genealogy help session. This will be a session where experienced
VGS members will be offering help in researching to VGS members who have problems or questions. This is not a session where
your research will be done for you but rather a chance for you to receive guidance of how to proceed whether it is on the internet
or collecting records from other sources. Help will be available to learn how to use some of the more popular internet genealogy
databases such as Ancestry.com and Family Search.org and others if needed.
The first class will be held in Adult Rm 1, Thursday, September 12, 1 -3 p.m. at the Village Church of Christ, 210 Balboa Dr.
If you are interested in attending, please email Jeanette Frahm at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide her with a short list of
your problem or needs. If you have a laptop, please bring it. Otherwise, several laptops will be available. Water is allowed
in the room but no food.
No workshops are scheduled at this time.
