ADITIONAL NOTES :
My grandparents Sidney J CANTRELL and Fannie M SHOEMAKE CANTRELL ,moved to :
Blytheville, Mississippi co., AR from Ashport, Lauderdale Co., TN.:
They lived across the missisippi river from Blytheville AR to an island on the tn side.My :
aunt Ruth still lived on the island in 1956. I can remember going across the mississippi river :
to spend the night ,they had a boat but when she was young there was a ferry. My dad Charles :
and uncle Gene told wonderful stories about growing up on the mississipi river, like :
the time my dad charles drove his dad,s Modle T into the the mississippi river. MY dad :
Charles and aunt Ruth didnt like it when the mississippi river when it flooded their house was :
stilts to keep their home from getting wet. One year the mississippi river flood so bad they :
evacuated them to a camp in Little Rock. till the river went down. I was born in Blytheville:
on the blytheville airforce base in 1951 . My dad and mom lived with his parents and dad and :
grandpa Cantrell work on the airforce base as civilians doing carpentar work.:
