Owensville Cemetery
Owensville Cutoff Road
Owensville, Saline County, Arkansas
Directions: From Benton, take Highway 5 to Owensville, turn left on Owensville Cutoff and go approximately 500 feet.
The original block of land was donated by Dr. William Sampson Davis in 1903. Deeded by his son John W. Davis to Owensville Extension Club. Later turned over to the "Owensville Community Cemetery Association" which was established in 1986. Four additional acres were purchased in 1994. A trust fund is established with the hope that it will eventually have enough interest to allow for perpetual care for maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery.
Donations may be made to Owensville Cemetery Association, 18410 Highway 5, Lonsdale, AR 72087.
Current board members are D. L. Ziegler; Willie Vance; Sue Hefley Wilson; Joyce James; Charles Robinson; Don Howard; Charleen Cook Nobles.
