Memorial Gardens Cemetery

One of the newer cemeteries in Garland County is Memorial Gardens, which is located on Highway 70 West.  The burial dates of those buried there were cataloged and published in 1968 by the late Inez Cline and Bobbie Jones McLane.  Beginning March 2005, members of the Melting Pot Genealogical Society (MPGS) began cataloging the markers and completed May 2005.  This information has been compiled into book form and contains over 5,000 transcriptions.  It includes a map of the cemetery, which is divided into sections.  The transcriptions, with an alphabetical surname index, lists all the existing markers by section and then by row.  The book also contains obituaries of some of the people who are buried at Memorial Gardens.  There are two separate surname indexes – one for the marker readings and one for the obituaries.  A comb binding is used with a black vinyl backing and a clear plastic cover making it easy to lay the book out flat.		 $20.00

Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery

Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery was established in the 1970s and is located on East Grand in Hot Springs.  The tombstones were read and catalogued between November 2005 and January 2006.  This information has been compiled into book form and contains over 3,000 transcriptions.  It includes a map of the cemetery, which is divided into sections.  The book also contains obituaries of some of the people who are buried there.  There are two separate surname indexes -- one for the marker readings and one for the obituaries.  A comb binding is used with a black vinyl backing and a clear plastic cover making it easy to lay the book out flat.		 $20.00
