The Northwest Arkansas Genealogical Society will meet Monday, October 24 at 6 PM at the Bentonville Public Library.
Carol Miles will present a program on DNA testing. Carol's particular interest is in using DNA to support and refine traditional genealogical research. She has used DNA testing in her research strategy since 2002 and watched the evolution of testing from the initial 12 markers on the Y chromosome to the newest testing of autosomal chromosomes for females and males. Currently she administers 2 surname projects and manages the results of 15 individuals. Her DNA training has included sessions at Family Tree DNA and the National Genealogical Society. Come if you can and bring a couple of friends.
