I am beginning a search for the past history of the family name GORDEY. My grandfathers name was Marshall GORDEY. He was one of the sons of Lafayette GORDEY. He was reared near the town of Camden, Ark. Any help would be appreciated.

Seeking information regarding the following Turbeville family: Enos & Fama 'Phammy' (RICE) TURBEVILLE, who went from Rose Hill, Covington Co., Alabama, to Behistian Township, Ouachita County, Arkansas, before 1860. John J. Tubberville, who was a close relative of Enos, was in 1860 Marion Twp., Ouachita Co., Ark., census, p. 65. Enos 'Enoch' Tubberville, appears on same census, p. 88. Can anyone tell me about Eulis TRIPLETT, who died in Camden, Ouachita Co, in 1972? Was he the brother of Reuben, Irma Lee, and Lester TRIPLETT. Were his parents Thomas and Etta TUNNEL TRIPLETT? Thomas Triplett worked for the railroads in AR and OK in the early 1900's. he and my great grandmother were siblings. I would like to find descendants of Tom and Etta. Did anyone know Eulis TRIPLETT or his descendants?

Grandfather Comodore Daly WARD, b. 1857 Ouachita Cnty. sister Mary. Parents unknown. May have been Comodore Perry WARD. Children lived with Alfred DAVIS family in 1860 census. CD moved to Texas in 1880s.
