He married Elizabeth ? also from AR. They first appear on
1860 census in Pike Co. with 3 children Isaiah b. abt.
1855 d. ca 1891-1892 at Grapevine,AR. (2) Richard R.
b.ca. 1856, and Sarah b. ca. 1860. Henry H. LOVE enlisted
in 33rd Ark. Inf. Co.D as Private on June 14, 1862 in
Ouachita Co. He disappeared in Mar or April of 1863. His
military record indicates AWOL but is noted he was sick
while on retreat from VanBuren. No further record on him
that I can find as yet. On 1870 census children are
apparantly orphaned and living with 3 different families
in Grant Co. Eventually they were raised by LYBRAND
family. Story passed through family is that Elizabeth
died enroute to see sick husband who had been taken
prisoner by Union forces and died on the way to him. Any
information concerning H.H. LOVE, Elizabeth or any
children would be so appreciate. On note on day H.H.
enlisted a Robert LOVE also enlisted. On census in
Ouachita Co. there is Robert A., Benjamin, and Jasper
LOVE. They may be siblings or closely related to Henry
LOVE. My descendency is through Isaiah who died also at
young age in Grant Co.
