I am interested in any information regarding William GOWER who was listed in Arkansas Land Records in St. Francis County in 1821. I noticed that St. Francis did not become a county until 1827, so how is it possible he had land in 1821???

Wish to contact BONNER descendants of Thomas BONNER [1704 SC - 1804 GA] whose sons were Zadock, Jordan, Whitmal, Thomas, Allen, & Josiah. Possibly other BONNER connections who came from GA and AL. A researcher told me that some BONNER families resided in Phillips Co. before 1850. Thank you. Ann Harper BONNER, Springhill, LA.
