Seeking residency information about Cornelia Roper THOMAS in 1932. She was receiving Civil War pension. Was in Clay Co., AR in 1920. Listed her address as Palestine on pension papers in Feb. 1932. Was she still living there in 1940? Was she living with a relative? I have proof of death as Memphis, TN on 23 Feb 1940. Believe that she was on a visit to her son, Thomas, in Memphis at the time of her death.

I am trying find as much information as I can on my grandfather, Oliver Jerome CAMP. I have learned that he was born in Helena, Arkansas in 1913 or 1914 and I believe the month was October (I am not positive). I have only been able to learn so far that there was a Thomas J. CAMP who bought 147.17 acres in Phillips County on Jan 31, 1903. I have no idea if he is related. I don't know if you would be able to locate or direct me to any further information but if you could i would be very greatfull.

I am helping a family in looking for any information on Mary Elizabeth BROWN, daughter of W. B. WILSON and Mary Jane RANEY. Mary Elizabeth was born ca 1923-24 in West Helena. Her mother was shot by her father on June 18, 1924 when Mary Elizabeth was an infant and the family lived at 101 Garland Avenue. It is not known who reared Mary Elizabeth but she was heard from in the 1940's and her married name was BROWN. She had at least one son named Charles and they were perhaps living in New Orleans on Magazine Street. Any information on Mary Elizabeth's life/whereabouts/marriage, etc. would be most appreciated. Did she attend high school in West Helena? Did she marry there? We have no resources here for research in Arkansas. How would we obtain prison records for W. B. WILSON?

Looking for information on Malachi and Annis SANDERLIN, who moved to Phillips County in the 1840s. Malachi died there in 1855. He was incorrectly stated as "William" SANDERLIN in the 1850 census. They had 4 children: Devotion, Robert, Sarah Simmons, and Joseph Allen. Joseph Allen's wife was Eveline J. FLEMING. Joseph died in 1855 and Eveline remarried to Thomas ROACH. Looking for any information on these people.
