I am looking for information on Oliver GEDEIST, who lived in Helena, Arkansas during 1936. He worked for the East Arkansas Record and listed his address as 229-31 Walnut Street (same address as the paper). I am trying to find information on my grandfather and father who lived in Oneida then Helena between 1910 through 1997. His name was Eugene OLIVER, Sr. There is a discrepency in who he was actually married to. It appears there was a Murdle ROWELL, a Mertise POWELL or a Nertise RODGSTON. I know he married Elizabeth MARSHALL around the earlier 1960s and had 6 children with her. His earlier marriage would have taken place around 1929 or 1930 which is the year my father, Eugene OLIVER, Jr. was born. There were at least 3 other children born from that marriage, Roy, Mark (or Manson) and Mary OLIVER. I am sure that the maiden name of their mother was POWELL. Can you assist me in finding this information. I have searched the actual census records for Phillips County in 1920 and found no information at all. I am positive that Grandpa should be listed somewhere. Thank you
