ADAMS, EVERETT, KELLER, SHERMAN posted by Alison Levine on Friday, November 3, 2000

I am looking for information on my gg-grandmother Gertrude ADAMS. She was born in 1839 in Helena, Phillips Co., Arkansas. Her father was Charles ADAMS. 12/24/1860, Gertrude ADAMS married Eleazer SHERMAN in Helena, Arkansas. What I have been unable to find, however, is who was Gertrude's mother? Her father, Charles ADAMS, married a second time, to Lucy Helen EVERETT. Their daughter was Kate ADAMS, 1/2 sister to Gertrude ADAMS. Kate married Arthur Henley KELLER and their daughter was Helen Adams KELLER. Nowhere can I find any information on Charles ADAMS' 1st wife, who would be the mother of Gertrude. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Alison Levine malevine@att.com
