His wife was Roxye Laine KORNEGAY (daughter of Jacob KORNEGAY) born 12-Feb-1866 in Ireland, died 18-Mar-1812 in Smith (now Trousdale) county Tennessee. They were Married 20-Aug-1782 in Duplin, Co., NC. They had 17 Children Jim Ward, Henry Ward, Bryant Ward , Luke Ward, John Ward, Charlotte Ward (my line), Matthew Ward, Marshall Ward, Wiley Ward, Ellis Ward, Louis Ward, Cynthia Ward, Tylithia Ward, Nancy Ward, Tabitha Ward and Malinda Ward. The older children stayed in Tennessee, but some of the younger ones moved to Arkansas with their father after their mother died. Any information on the Arkansas relatives will be appreciated.
