OKEEFE posted by Kevin J. O'Keefe on Monday, April 1, 2002

?Art O'KEEFE, Canadian born at Lindsay, Ontario about 1875, was my grand-uncle. He moved to St. Catherines during WW1 to work as a printer there. During the 1920s he was a printer at one of the newspapers in Chicago. There was a printers' strike and he ended up on hard times after the strikes were defeated. My grand-father and another grand-uncle tried to convince him to return to Canada(Lindsay)but he never did. The trail ends when my great-grandmother stopped getting Chrismas cards from him in the twenties. Does this match any of your family history? All the Printers' Union records are in the archives at Bolder Colorado University Library.

CLEBURNE posted by Wes Taylor on Saturday, April 6, 2002

I have seen I think a picture of Genl Patrick CLEBURNE'S headstone. It is plain like every other headstone I have seen. I cannot believe he doesn't have a large monument type of headstone, as to my thinking and of others, that he should have been in command of the Confederate western army in the war between the states.

PATTERSON, TAYLOR posted by Cathy Brown Hicks on Monday, April 15, 2002

I am searching for information on Kate V. PATTERSON, she married in Helena to Thomas Jefferson TAYLOR, SR. on March 12, 1878. She was the third wife of T. J. TAYLOR, SR. who was my great great grandfather and he lived in Illinois for awhile before marrying Kate PATTERSON. They had no children. She must have died sometime before 1906 because she is not mentioned in his obituary as being a survivor. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
