Mrs. J. W. Seagraves, aged 65 years, a highly respected citizen of the county, died at her home near Running Lake Monday night, (Feb., 1917), after a brief illness of pneumonia. She was the mother of the Mays boys, four of whom are still living, namely, Tom, Lee, Walter and Ben, and one daughter, Mrs. George Luttrell, of Holmes. The remaines were laid to rest in the Duty cemetery, near Lesterville, funeral services being conducted by Eld. John L. Fry.
