'In the Long Ago' of 1941 paper,

Mrs. M. K. Eich, aged 83 years and two months, died on the 16th day of February,1917, at the home of her son, Jake Eich, at Bono. Mrs. Eich was born in Koblenz, on the Rhine river in Germany, and came to the United States with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Moskop, in 1850. She was married in 1854 to Jacob Eich, and to this union was born 13 children. Her husband and 8 children preceded her in death. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Kemper, Fults, Ill., Mrs. Mary McCape, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Genevieve Keifer of Pocahontas; and two sons, Peter Eich of Prairie Du Rocher, Ill., and Jack Eich of Bono. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Father Froltzheim at St. Paul's church, Feb. 18, and the remains were laid to rest in St. Paul's cemetery
