Pocahontas Star Heald

MRS. POLLY HARVY HAMPTON, aged 75, died near Biggers Feb. 19. She was born Oct. 8, 1865, and was married to F. M. Hampton in 1882. They were the parents of 11 children, 7 of whom survive.
Mrs. Hampton had been ill for several months, and all of her children were at her bedside when she passed away.
Funeral services were conducted by J. M. Stephens of Pocahontas, Feb. 20, at the Hite cemetery. Interment was under the direction of Irby Undertaking Co. Surviving children are Mrs. Eva Beard, Mrs. Pearl Stark, Mrs. Chas. Etchason, Mrs. Johnny Foster, Joble, Cleve and Cecil Hampton of Biggers.
