Hi I have just received information about my Great Aunt
Annie Tremain, that stated that she was sent to an Old folks home in Pocahontas
Arkansas about 1949-1950 by the Welfare. Apparently she died there in the
late fall of 1950, and is buried with her husband in Van Buren MO. The
information I have sais that she was from Vam Buren. My question is. Can
anyone tell me how I might find information on the Old folks homes in Pocahontas
in 1950. Also I am wondering why she would have been sent to Arkansas,
and not to an old folks home in Missouri. Any suggestions would be much
appreciated. Thanks in advance Cindy Saskatchewan, Canada
